Ben's, KLCC, Malaysia

Ben's is an affable place to meet friends in the KLCC area.  Located in California Pizza Kitchen's old spot, its simple design,  large windows overlooking KLCC park and fountain, and comfortable oversized seating spur conversations to linger on as you leisurely pass the hours. Most meals I've eaten here have been toothsome with particular note going to the duck confit spaghettini with sun dried tomatoes. A sufficient selection of salads is offered but, unless you like your lettuce served drowning, remember to ask for the dressing on the side. Prices are reasonable for this area with most salads and pastas in the vicinity of 20RM.  Coffee is sourced from Melbourne and around 7RM for an espresso based drink. While the coffee is well made, with pretty crema artwork, I think most serious coffee drinkers might prefer a stronger blend.

  1. Dear Ms Tindall,

Is there any way we can have your contact details in order to contact you to do a food review?
    Do let me know. ;P
    Thank you.

  2. Sure! Send me an email to
    and I'll send my number.

  3. You are right, the coffee there ain't that great. They served me a cup of warm long black the last time I went there...what a waste..

  4. Like the decor. It reminds me of some Sydney cafes, only with more space.

  5. Thanks for the suggestion. I met my friends here this weekend and liked it.
