I love my coffee and if you do too and are visiting Chiang Mai, do visit Ristretto cafe.
You choose your coffee beans according to the world map and select the type of coffee you would like. Cappuccino, latte, mocha etc. I tried several; the Columbian, Ethiopian and the Costa Rica/Guatemala blend. All were fantastic.

Apparently the coffee plantations are a positive attempt to reduce the production of opium and give the farmers a viable replacement industry.

ReplyDeleteVisuals help don't they. I like picture menus.
DeleteI love coffee very much too!
ReplyDeleteLike their idea for choosing coffees bean according the world map.
That's a pretty cool idea - I like the map menu :-)
Deletewow, talk about the benefits of globalization! i've only recently managed to try a few of these coffee varieties, cos plan B at publika serves ethiopian and guatemalan blends. my palate isn't educated enough to appreciate them, though they tasted good enough :D
ReplyDeleteI've tried the guatemalan from Plan B - like it. I'm quite fond of South American beans.
