Carollers surround the Christmas tree at the Prince Hotel and Residence Kuala Lumpur

On 5 December 2012, Prince Hotel & Residence Kuala Lumpur celebrated the beginning of Christmas with a Christmas tree lighting ceremony witnessed by corporate clients and, residence and in-house guests. The hotel was filled with the mood of Christmas as a group of holiday carollers from La Voce Choir and, the children from the Agathians Shelter, rendered joyful holiday tunes during the lighting ceremony followed by a balloon drop.

Each Christmas, a group of residents get together with their friends and sponsor shoeboxes filled with gifts for under privileged children. This programme, called “Christmas in a Shoebox,” was started back in 2006. This year, the hotel has embarked on a new community initiative which is the sales of Christmas wishing cards at RM20 nett. On the cards, guests can write personal messages and hang them on the 20ft Christmas tree located at the lobby. The cards are available at the hotel for the month of December while stocks last. The shoeboxes filled with gifts and, the proceeds from the card sales, benefit the Agathians Shelter.

This Christmas, Prince Hotel & Residence Kuala Lumpur is offering Christmas Eve and Christmas Day promotions at both Eccucino and Tai Zi Heen and Christmas Eve dinner at Enju.
