Samuel's Gorge, McLaren Vale - Put It On Your Detour List or Make It Your Sole Destination

Samuel's Gorge should be on your detour list for any visit to McClaren Vale. Only producing red wines this boutique winery makes some of the best we've tasted - and as you know, we 'taste' a lot, so that's no light statement. Justin McNamee and team are behind the beauties and their Icon Wines - blends of Grenache, Mourvedre and Shiraz, and Tempranillo and Grenache - are some of the finest in the region. I fell in love however with the juicy mouthful of fruit found in the smooth, palate enchanting Shiraz. Wines, views, rustic set up and some great characters all make Samuel's Gorge a "must visit" in South Australia.
